Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.
Things you might need to know.
100mentors boosts student engagement in the classroom by turning your lecture into a global conversation. Different features make this possible, in or out of class.
Q&A Topics can be used free - forever, one topic at a time per school. Teachers set the discussion topics, students post typed or 20 sec questions, and multiple mentors answer in 100 sec, personalized and byte-sized videos. Upgrade your plan to enjoy more than one active topic at a time, whether you use your subscription in just your classroom, or switch off with your other faculty.
Live sessions are a premium feature, which can be unlocked on a pay-per-session basis if your package doesn’t already include them. Teachers schedule a live call and select their classroom’s mentor, and students connect live with one mentor.
Yes! While live sessions are a premium feature, we make them available to all users on a use-basis. If you’d like to invite a mentor to your classroom whose answers to your students’ questions particularly inspired them, you can pay-per-session, or buy a session package. Ask your customer success specialist for details!

The 100mentors app can be used by students, mentors, and soon, educators, too! It’s now available on iOS and Google Play, free. We encourage all classrooms to make use of our on-the-go app, designed to make integrating inquiry in your curriculum as easy as possible. It eliminates the need for precious class time and makes it possible to assign screen-time for homework
Our 4000+ mentors are the world’s thought leaders, brightest minds, and career experts from 300+ of the world’s top universities, and 500+ companies. We partner with these organizations to recruit role models across fields, who are poised to answer your students’ questions in ways that make expertise accessible to your learners, no matter how old they are. We train and individually onboard all our mentors to make sure your students are receiving authoritative and reliable answers. Depending on your subscription plan, your students’ mentor pool expands, and, if you’re one of our premium customers, we’ll help recruit additional mentors to get the best fit for your classroom. Plus, you can rest easy knowing that your students can only connect with mentors by asking questions - they can’t have private conversations on or offline.
Q&A Topics:Once you set a Q&A discussion topic, and your students start asking questions, we match them to the mentors that are the best fit to answer them. Engaging student questions grab the attention of our best mentors, so encourage your students to ask thought-provoking questions to receive the best answers!
Live Sessions:Register to explore 4000+ mentor profiles on our platform. Typically, educators invite mentors to their classroom once their students have responded positively to the byte-sized answers they’ve recorded. You’ll know when a great mentor is the right fit for a live session because your students’ questions will have already started the discussion!
Keep in mind, the size of the mentor pool your classroom has access to grows depending on your subscription plan.
100mentors makes inquiry possible at any grade level - from kindergarten to 12th grade, and beyond! Although developed as a K-12 edtech tool, some higher ed institutions, companies, and admired learning institutions also make use of our platform and app in their classrooms, too.
100mentors works best as a way to support what you are already doing in the classroom - so you don’t need a lot of prep time to get started. After registering yourself to the platform, invite your students to register, too, and download the 100mentors app. Once you’ve set your discussion topic, all you have to do is get your students thinking about how to ask great questions to prepare them to make the most of the 100mentors experience. Then, it’s up to them to get inquiring!
100mentors can be used both in and out of class. The 100mentors app is designed to be used out of the classroom, but can also be integrated as part of an inquiry-based learning activity in the classroom. Students can log on anywhere, anytime with their mobile devices like phones or tablets. If you have younger learners who need supervision to use tech tools, we can help you get set up with a desktop version of our app designed for lower grade levels. Live sessions, meanwhile, are a great way to turn an in-class lecture into a discussion, and engage all your students! If your school or students don’t have access to these tech tools, get in touch and we’ll help find a solution.
We recommend all users logging into our web app do so from a Chrome Browser. Users logging into our mobile app can do so from any iOS device using iOS 11 or later, or any Android device running Android version 5 or later. To ask questions, students can type them, but can choose to record them from a desktop or mobile device with a camera and microphone. Recorded questions usually attract a higher number of mentor answers. Similarly, to get connected for a classroom’s live session, educators will need a camera and microphone, and an internet connection that can support streaming a video call.
We work with students like you do, so their safety is always our #1 priority. Our platform uses secure authentication, user information is always kept private within your school, and we won’t use your students’ likeness without explicit written consent. Mentors who connect to your discussion topic or session only see students’ first names, and we vet them before they get on board.
Furthermore, part of our mission is making the classroom a safe space for any student be curious.Safety is also about giving students the confidence to use their voices and empowering educators to bring the back row to the front.
Schools entrust us with their students across the world to make their classroom experiences more valuable. Here’s what they’re saying about us.
Konstantinos was extremely knowledgeable and provided clear responses to questions asked. He gave the students a broader understanding of the requirements when working professionally in his field and was able to trace a path of skills and understandings that the students needed to focus on to get from where they were as students to where he was in his professional life.
